Beltane Organic Cotton Handkerchief

Beltane - 1st May 

A beautiful time of celebration, the union of the May Queen and the Green Man. Most years I celebrate Beltane at Butser Ancient Farm near to where my sister lives most years. This artwork is inspired by a photograph taken of me there last year. It's a beautiful time of year where the garden and the hedgerows begin to provide us with food, teas and fresh plants for making medicines.

This handkerchief is sewn by me in the caravan I live in on a farm in Mid Wales The  cotton fabric is certified as 100% organic. The approximate size for each handkerchief is 320 mm x 320 mm.
